Our Bass Rave concept started back in 2021 when Covid-19 restrictions were lifted. The goal was to create more events with underground electronic music in Kristiansand. Our first event was called "Bass and Time" and we continued with more Bass Rave events.  In 2024, we have hosted three indoor "Bass Rave" events, one of which is called "Frostbitt." or Frostbite.

Solbrent (English: Sunburned) was first held in August 2023. The idea was to have an outdoor festival in late summer while it was still warm. Our stage was at Odden, and we had around 250 attendees. With lots of great musicians/DJs, excellent sound, lighting, stage, and experiences, we received a lot of positive feedback and wanted to do it again!

Solbrent 2024 will be held at Bendiksbukta! We will set up tents and benches and create a first-class event for all festival and rave lovers! Friday starts at 5 PM, and Saturday starts at 12 PM.

Solbrent 2024 is the first year as a festival, thus two days in the Bass Rave concept. The program starts with artists in calmer genres and gradually builds energy and tempo throughout the evening. We strive to create a great atmosphere and unique experience, and we look forward to giving you a wonderful vibe at the festival!

This is a unique opportunity to experience something missing in Kristiansand's cityscape – a festival full of electronic energy and great experiences! It will be an unforgettable atmosphere with amazing light and sound experiences and a star-studded lineup of local and international artists: something for everyone!
